Hi all Mix & Mingle is taking place at Ponds Forge in Sheffield on the weekend of 4-6 February. For anyone who isn't aware, Mix & Mingle is the biggest and best 80s themed indoor tournament you could ever imagine. 24 teams compete over the weekend (backed my a massive 80s soundtrack) and there is an awesome fancy dress party on the Saturday night (last year saw a cracking Friday night welcome party as well). The fee(s) for this year's event have changed (ie. gone up) but this is so I am in a better position to offer you more!! The tournament fee for 2011 will be £120. If you require accommodation, this will be £20 per team for one night, or £30 for two (you can make this choice on the entry form). Payment details will be sent out on receipt of your completed entry form. The accommodation charge is to cover the cost of hiring the scout hall(s) which left me out of pocket last time around, and hopefully to provide things like breakfast if you are housed with one of the local players. The increase in the tournament fee covers in part the increase in venue hire, and also the provision of extras for your team!
