LLLeeds Women are looking to select a team for the 2011 season. We will be holding two trials sessions in Leeds for those women interested in playing for the team: Single day trial: Sun 20th February, 10am-4pm Weekend trial: Sat 12th March, 12-4pm Sun 13th March, 9am-2pm Trials are open to anyone who wishes to be part of a competitive women's ultimate team, regardless of experience. It would be great to see lots of people there so please come along if you are interested in playing with Leeds next year. We are aiming to build on our success at Nationals and good performance in tour in 2010 by making tour and national finals next season and qualifying for ECUF in the Autumn. We will be asking for players to commit to regular training sessions to work towards this. We will train throughout the season over a number of weekends, starting the weekend after trials on the 19th and 20th of March. If you could let us know some brief details of your playing experience (i.e. how long have you been playing/for what club(s) and what position you prefer (cutter/handler/either) that would be great. Also, please get in touch if you have any questions or want any more info about the team. A few admin details: one of the trials may be held on astroturf in Skipton about 45 mins from Leeds (depending on availability). We will also be asking for a contribution of £5 per day to cover costs of hiring the fields/astro. We look forward to seeing lots of people in February 2011, enjoy the Christmas and New Year break!
