Hi BD

If you saw Si's email about the grass Masters trials and were
intrigued then you'll want to know about this as well!

If you're of Masters age eligibility this year (date of birth must be
in 1978 or earlier) then you could play with the GB Masters team for
the World Beach Championships! The event details are at
http://www.wcbu2011.org but in short it's a massive sports complex in
Italy with incredible sea side beach pitches and accommodations in one
convenient location.

The past two WCBU events have been incredible with an atmosphere
similar to that of Paganello, combining the positive spirit of beach
ultimate with the competitive nature of a world class ultimate event.
At the previous WCBU in Brazil the Masters team took silver losing in
a close final to USA. We'd like to take gold this year like the beach
women's team did in Brazil.

There are currently two teams being organised for GB Beach Masters
players. There is a Mixed Masters team and an "Open" Masters squad.
I'll be organising the Open Masters squad and Lucy Byrne is handling
Mixed.

WCBU is an ideal chance for you to represent Great Britain and have a
fantastic time playing Beach Ultimate in the process. What could be
better! If you're interested in the Open Masters team please get back
to me with these details. If you're thinking you'd rather play Mixed
Masters but would play open if the Mixed team was full, please reply
also.

To put yourself forwards please email me with the following info:
1. Name
2. DoB
3. Team priority (Open Masters, Mixed Master, Open, Mixed)
4. Brief playing history and beach experience.
5. What player "class" you are if don't have a UK passport (see WFDF
eligibility link for details)
6. Ability to potentially commit to approximately one training
session/tournament per month.

Thanks and see you on the beach!
Steve G
