Dear Juniors and Junior Coaches After a successful Junior Europeans this year the GB U20 and U17 are looking to build on this for Worlds next year. While we will have to say goodbye to some of the players, this allows new players to join the squads bringing with them new energy.
This year the U20 and U17 staff have decided to hold regional skills days. These are open to all players (male and female) but will also act as regional trials for the U20 males & U17 males. This is a great chance for juniors to come along and learn some new skills and play with other juniors in the region as well as meet some of the GB coaches, For those juniors wanting to play with GB, it will allow more to come to trials and make sure the GB coaches can see as many players as possible. I’m pleased to announce the locations and dates for these: · Guildford - 8th of October · Bristol - 9th of October · Leeds - 16th of October · Twycross - 29th of October · The Wirral - 30th of October The venue at each location will be announced closer to the date. The sessions will be likely to start around 10am/11am in the morning and last until 4pm/5pm. We are looking at holding the national trials for GB U20 boys the weekend of the 19th/20th of November in Loughborough. This will be confirmed at the regional trials. National trials for the other squads (U17 boys, U20 girls & U17 girls) will be announced later in the year. Anyone of eligible age (Born after 1992) is welcome to attend as many trials as possible, whatever their experience. To confirm your attendance you must email [email protected] giving your: · Name · D.O.B · Contact details · Which trial location you would like to attend If you have any questions please contact Joe on [email protected] Please pass on this message to any juniors or junior coaches.
