The 11th Great Barr Crawl is booked. It will be held again in Birmingham on 17 & 18 December.
For those of you who haven’t heard of the Great Barr Crawl it is a fun but competitive indoor tournament, held in the Community Hall at the National Indoor Arena in the centre of Birmingham. The venue is very easy to get to right in the middle of Birmingham, either just off the M6 if you are driving or just 10 minutes walk from New Street Station. As we are located right in the middle of Birmingham and next to the German market it’s a good chance to start the Christmas merriment in between or after the games with bratwurst, mulled wine and beer! We will be running the same format as last year - 24 teams, two pitches, and the epic Sunday fantasy game. Teams play pool games on either the Saturday morning or the afternoon – please tell us which you would prefer (we can’t promise to satisfy everyone!). Entry fees will be £125 (held at this price for the third year!). We already have 14 teams that have asked to enter. If you would like to enter a team(s) in this event please email me to either get my address to send a cheque or bank details for bank transfer. Entry is only confirmed on payment of tournament entry fees. Please don’t ask us to reserve any places without payment. As usual we are unable to offer accommodation at this tournament, but Birmingham does have many cheap hotel options. The Etap hotel is advertising cheap room rates.
