I think the reaction to Pauls email has been a little bit over the top.
Britdisc is a forum for the entire ultimate community to share Ultimate related
information . I think this a very good forum for sharing information but not a
good forum for discussing it.
I think that Paul's email concerning the GB juniors and UKU ultimate is a very
valid one especially from someone who puts so much time and energy into junior
ultimate (I think it would be naive to think Paul doesn't know how much time
and energy go into organising Ultimate). I think that bringing it up on
britdisc helps the whole Ultimate community to hear that the issue exists and
think about it. Britdisc is a forum where probably 90% of the emails won't be
relevant to you but enables you to easily see the 10% that are. For this reason
I think that if you disagree and want to discuss the point raised then you
should raise that with the appropriate parties, not the national forum, and if
people don't think the email is relevant to them then they should ignore it
along with the majority of emails that don't affect them either.
Hopefully by now this issue has been sorted though
