To all junior women's teams, Key details: Date: Sunday 4th December 2011 Venue: Alan Higgs Centre, Coventry Cost: £50 per team More detail: This year's Junior Women's Indoor Nationals will be held at the Alan Higgs Centre, Allard Way, Coventry, CV3 1HW. The plan is to have 16 teams at this tournament. If a lot more than 16 teams express an interest in coming, we may need to prioritise entry to 1st and 2nd teams before making spaces for and 3rd (and 4th?) teams. The earlier I have the information, the easier this will be to work out so please send me an e-mail ASAP stating how many teams you hope to bring. If you have a small number of female players but not enough for a full team (or enough for 1 but not quite enough for 2), get in touch because it's likely that others will be in the same position and we could combine players so that more girls get to take part.
Eligibility: players should be born in 1992 or later. Where possible teams should be made up of girls from a single school / organisation but where that is not possible, the first option should be to pick up for the most local team. The venue: The Alan Higgs Centre is hosting a lot of Ultimate at the moment. We have two 3G astro turf pitches available for the whole day. If you've not been before, you'll need to know that this is one of the colder indoor venues. In December it might be very cold. Please make sure your team come prepared. I'd suggest base layers and plenty of warm clothes for between games as well astroturf shoes or moulded boots/blades rather than trainers.
