Well, we had 32 teams from 14 Universities descend on the Hertfordshire Sports Village this weekend to battle it out for spots at Division 1 & 2 Nationals. We had some great games, a brief fire alarm (courtesy of some very intense defence from Surrey 2), a very intermittent live stream from the Sunday afternoon games, some great prizes and a very tired TD who rambled a bit.
Qualifying for Division 1 Nationals: 1. Sussex Mohawks 1 2. Portsmouth Sublime 1 3. Imperial Disc Doctors 1 They each won themselves a 25% discount on a kit order from Scimitar Sports. Qualifying for Division 2 Nationals: 4. Surrey Scorpions 1 5. Kent Touch This 1 6. KCL Thrown 1 They each won themselves a 20% discount on a kit order from Scimitar Sports. Spirit of the Game went to Imperial Disc Doctors 2, who won themselves a set of shiny SOTG discs for each member of their team, courtesy of Gaia. MVP of the final was Callum "Mancake" Smith (#33 Sussex Mohawks) who received a pack of prizes from Lookfly. MVP's from each team received a voucher for 10% off a kit order from Scimitar + a free set of kit for themselves.
