Calling all teams going to Uni Div 1 and Div 2 Indoor Nationals on Nov 26/27... (especially team Captains)
Hi As part of my 3rd year research project in my sport Science Degree I will be carrying out a study over the weekend of Uni Open Indoor Nationals. My study looks at the effect of coach and leadership behaviours on team's self-confidence. The study consists of a series of short questionnaires to be completed over the course of one of your days at Indoor Nationals. I'll be running this at Div 2 in Hatfield on Saturday, and Div 1 in Coventry on Sunday. By taking part in the study I'll be able to offer feedback on your team's leadership behaviour and areas that might be improved, and you'll be entered into a prize draw to win a prize to the approximate value of £30-50 (I'm hoping to procure an Ultimate related prize of some sort, but it may just be a cash prize). You'll also be doing me a massive favour. If you or your team are interested in taking part, please get in touch. It would be easiest for me if you discuss this with your team/Captain and ask them to send me one e-mail with the following details: - Your name - Your Team's Name - Approximate numbers of people from that team who wish to take part - Contact e-mail - Division (although I can work this out myself) And I'll provide further details of exactly what the study involves. Expressing an interest doesn't in any way commit you to anything, you can withdraw from the study at any time without giving a reason. All data will be recorded anonymously, and will be held in strict confidence.
