Hello, We are now accepting entries for Northern University Women’s Indoor Regionals (NUWIR).
It is: 4-5th February Ponds Forge in Sheffield http://www.ponds-forge.co.uk/how_to_find_us Costs £120 per team To enter, email ultimate at sheffield.ac.uk by 10th January with: Subject heading *NUWIR* Name of University Numbers of teams Accommodation (Friday and Saturday or Saturday only, approximately how many people) Your contact details, including mobile number A few universities may have partial teams – either not enough for a second team, or just not enough. Please let me know and we will try to assist forming collaborations. If you form your own collaboration, the short version of the rules is: Check with Megan Hurst (uniwomenscoordinator at gmail.com) and please tell me. All players have to be current students Collaborations must offer places to ALL students at both participating universities and pick ups must go on the weakest team (basically, you can’t make a super team by picking up someone amazing from a uni with few girls, shunning their beginners and putting their superstar on your 1st team while your own beginners form your second team). Confused? If in doubt, check! Even if sure it’s all ok and have checked UKU rules, still check with Megan Hurst. A uni was disqualified last year for presuming they could have the same collaboration from the previous year, rather than checking.
