We are pleased to announce that we have secured a fantastic new (to
ultimate) venue to host this year's BUCS UKU University Outdoor Nationals,
the University of Manchester Sports Ground. It is a substantial site and as
a result will be big enough to host four divisions; the University Open
Divisions A & B, the University Women's Division and a brand new division
for 2012, the Alumni Cup!

*The Alumni Cup*

Have you ever argued that your university team of 2010 was better than the
2005 team? Have you always wanted a re-match of a previous Student
Nationals final? Well now is your chance - Gather together your mates and
enter a team into the Alumni Cup! This is going to become an annual event
so not only will we be able to crown the open and womens' university
champions but we will also be able to crown the best university team ever...

To be eligible for an alumni team the player must have attended the
institution for at least one year. The player does not need to have
graduated from that institution. Each university may enter more than one
team.

*Registering & Payment*

Open A & B: Qualification for both open divisions will be via the regional
qualifiers. Qualifying teams will be required to pay within 14 days of
qualifying in order to guarantee their spot.
Maximum teams = 32 teams
Cost = £125 per team

Womens: There is no qualification for this division. Please complete the
web form (link below) to enter. Payment details are contained in the web
form. The initial deadline for entries is Wednesday 29th February.
Cost = £125 per team
Maximum teams = There is no limit for this division

Alumni Cup: There is no qualification for this division. Please complete
the web form (link below) to enter. Payment details are contained in the
web form. Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis but
are not confirmed until payment has been received. The initial deadline for
entries is Wednesday 29th February.
Cost = £175 per team
Maximum teams = 16 teams

*Accommodation *

As in previous years, teams will be expected, where at all possible, to
organise their own accommodation. There are currently some good deals at
around £30 per room but Manchester United are at home on the Saturday so it
will fill up very fast. The postcode for the actual venue does not work
correctly so please use M23 0DT for an approximate location. Below are a

For those student teams that cannot get accommodation funded by their
university there will be very limited camping available at a site approx. 5
miles from the venue.

This camping option is very limited and therefore will be restricted to
those who cannot get accommodation funded by their university. Therefore we
strongly recommend all other teams book their accommodation as soon as
possible.
