All,

This weekend saw the largest ever University Championships. In all 73 teams

Also special congratulations to Manchester who were the Spirit of the Game
champions in the Alumni Cup. The SOTG results in the other three divisions
are still being processed and will be published in the next week or so.
Likewise, once the lost property has been sorted, then this too will be
communicated.

I would also like to thank a large group of people who made the event
possible:

Ground Staff – Without their tremendous support, given the weather
conditions, this event would have not been possible.

Support Staff – Edd Carmichael, Liam Kelly, Benji Heywood and Wayne Retter
who worked long hours over the weekend to make sure the event ran smoothly.

Si Hill & the Scheduling Committee – Who worked extremely hard on the
original schedule only to have to re-write it on the Friday evening.

Physio & First Aid – Particularly Nathan who worked non-stop throughout the
weekend.

Lookfly – For offering complimentary team photos and bringing their
merchandise store to the event.

Halcyon – For putting up a number of teams around Manchester.

Megan Hurst – For organising a church hall for a number of teams to stay in
for the weekend.

Thanks again to everyone who attended the event,

Si Weeks
