Dear UK frisbee players, we are proud to announce that *Ultimate Peace is coming to London Calling*!
*What is ultimate peace**?* Ultimate Peace started in the Middle East in 2009, as the brainchild of two frisbee fanatics - one from Israel and the other from San Francisco. The aim is to use the ideology and competitiveness of Ultimate frisbee to encourage dialogue and understanding in communities and regions that experience conflict.Based on five pillars of fun, mutual respect, integrity, non-violence and friendship, over the past three years, Ultimate Peace has managed to bring coaches and players from around the world to help instill the values of Ultimate to villages across Israel and the Palestinian Territories, Columbia, and is currently in the process of expanding to specific regions in Africa and Europe. New partnerships and friendships have been established, as well as grassroots frisbee development. This summer, we have over 200 Israeli and Palestinian kids and 70 volunteer coaches from four different continents coming to two frisbee camps - one for new players, and another for the teams we have established over the past few years. As a non-profit, Ultimate Peace relies of the generous donations of benefactors, as well as the continuous efforts of the volunteers who donate their time and love for the sport on a weekly basis to keep this project alive. *What can you do to help?* - *Come purchase Ultimate Peace jerseys and discs*! All proceeds go towards the program. - Bring *old discs *you would like to donate for the kids to practice with. - *Donate* to the cause, every quid counts! - Come chat with us - Jez and Mickey - about the program! We are always looking for new people to spread the message of Ultimate, and expand the reach of the sport to new, unchartered territory!
