**MIDLANDS WARM UP** 20th/21st October 2012 Aldersley Leisure Village Aldersley Road Wolverhampton WV6 9NW Following on from the success and demand of last years tournament, Birmingham Warm Up, we have relocated to a bigger venue. What you can expect from Midlands Warm Up: - Open ultimate - Space for up to 28 teams in 1 division - 9 or 10 games across 2 days - 3 big indoor pitches - A modern sports centre with lots of free parking - High ceilings! - A chance to play together as a team against top-quality opposition, 1 week before Uni Open regionals and 3 weeks before club regionals Just to make it clear, this is ***NOT*** a beginners tournament. Obviously, beginners and inexperienced teams are completely welcome to attend, but you won't get the beginners format seen at Loughborough and Sheffield. The idea of Midlands Warm Up is to give teams a competitive tournament in the build up to university and club regionals. Unfortunately, at this stage we cannot guarantee accommodation. This is because (a) we don't know the area, and (b) the uptake for accommodation last year was so low that it wasn't worth paying for. We recommend that you try and arrange your own accommodation, but if you are really struggling please get in touch and we will do our best to help! We also recommend getting in touch with any contacts you may have in the West Midlands. Alternatively, if you live in the area and can offer accommodation or have some ideas as to where teams can stay, please get in touch.
