Dear all, Thundering Herd would like to invite anyone interested in playing with them at Mixed Tour 2013 and beyond to trials on 18th November and 1st December 2012. The 18th November trial will be at Mixed Winter League and the 1st December trial will be a session specifically planned for the purpose that will run from 12-4pm on Clapham common. Thundering Herd runs two competitive teams that ranked 4th and 9th (highest 2nd team at Mixed Tour) in the 2012 tour rankings. Our aim for this year is to continue to compete at the highest level and to qualify for XEUCF.
Thundering Herd is a team that trains. We run weekly Saturday sessions and mid week fitness sessions and all of our players are expected to commit to both. The club ethos has always been to try and balance all of this training with a very healthy social scene and the club hold very regular socials. We aim to go to as many fun tournaments as there is demand for and this coming year is our ten year anniversary for which we are planning something very special. So, if you'd like to be part of all of that and play for the only team that has cow print shorts, please come to our trials!
