*This is an announcement for all women interested in trying out for Iceni for the 2013 season.*
Iceni is the UK's premier women's London based Ultimate Frisbee team. We began in 2005, and, on the back of another great season at the top of the European women's circuit in 2012, we are beginning to look towards 2013 and beyond. We are a competitive geo-team with regular training sessions. We are also a friendly and positive bunch of girls. :-) We are looking for players who: - Have strong basic Ultimate and athletic skills; - Want to work hard and improve; - Can commit to two weekly trainings (both midweek and on weekends); and - Have a professional and positive attitude. We welcome applications from both experienced players and also newer players who feel that they have potential. We understand that players may be trialling with other teams in parallel; we'd still love to see you at Iceni trials! TRIAL INFORMATION Our first trial date will be *Monday 21 January*, and we are hoping to hold *four Monday-night trials *in total. We are currently aiming to have selected our squad by *the end of February* and to begin training *in early spring*.
