To those living in, or close to, Sale in Greater Manchester. As part of the Matalan Sporting Promise - Community Clubs project, we are setting up two community clubs in Manchester. Sale will be the host of one of these clubs. The primary aim is to encourage and support new players, with a focus on 14 - 19 year olds, but the club is open to everyone in the community.
We see the only way this club surviving and prospering is through being supported, and participated in, by the current community. We have our fist open session on Monday 17th June at 6pm till 8pm at Ashton-on-Mersey - M33 5BP. We are in the Sports Hall which is managed by a the Health & Fitness Centre. At 19:00 we will have an informal meeting giving me an opportunity to outline the project and answer some questions. The rest of the times we can use to play Ultimate. Please come along to see what it's all about, and play some frisbee too. If you want to drop me an email to say you are attending, then please do. It would be greatly appreciated to know in advance.
