Dear friends, comrades and disc-lovers alike,**** Ro Sham Bo is thrilled to announce that entries are now open for Edinburgh Beginners Tournament 2013!****
Over the weekend of the *12th/13th of October*, teams from all over the UK and Ireland will descend upon the capital to contest Scotland’s most prestigious beginner’s title. An epic weekend of floppy flicks, horrendous hammers, chumped catches and forgotten forces awaits.**** ** ** Aside from the small matter of Ultimate, *two riotous nights* are promised. Expect top quality drinkage, glorious costumes and rampant sharking.**** ** ** This year, we’re mixing things up. After much deliberation, we have decided to reduce the tournament size to 24 teams. Each club can enter a *maximum of two teams*. The rules for team composition remain the same, teams consist of beginners, with one experienced player permitted on the pitch during matches (bring your best hats). For space purposes, we are limiting team size to *13 members.***** ** ** Due to the number of dropouts in previous years, we have altered the payment scheme. For sign-ups on or before the 4thOctober - *£120*. Any sign ups after this date - *£140*. Last minute drop outs cause us a lot of administrative and logistical problems so any withdrawals after the 9th of October will receive no refund.
