Just so everyone knows, Sourceforge is about finished with their deployment to
new infrastructure ("allure") so they've added a post-commit hook to be
annoying. Every time you commit, you may see this:
Warning: post-commit hook failed (exit code 1) with output:
**********************************************************************
We've released a new version of our "forge" software.
Upgrade your project now to take advantage of all the new features.
Visit https://sourceforge.net/p/upgrade/ to learn more.
**********************************************************************
Note that the commit still happens successfully, it's JUST a warning message.
I've known about their new web platform for well over a year and even worked
with the Sourceforge folks early on to resolve some concerns I had after
testing the "upgrade" with other projects. If I recall correctly, one of their
deployments while GCI was under way resolved one of my last major concerns.
Unless anyone has concerns of their own, I plan to migrate the project
near-but-before the end of this month after making sure we have backups of all
data secured. I'll post info then on what this means but it shouldn't impact
us in a big way other than the appearance of our project page on Sourceforge.
More to follow later.
