Work for about 40 hours weekly on my project.
Be self-motivated , work daily and frequently log my activities.
Get actively involved , make succinct patches and obtain commit access.
Collaborate with other developers for Integrated development.
Commit early and often,use quality messages containing specific
information and avoid checking in changes that are not tested.
Frequently communicate to my mentor my progress based on our agreed
mentor-student pace.
Discuss my project's development and issues with other mentors and
developers on IRC and the mailing list.
Maintain design documents.
