Hello,
I am currently editing header files so as to accommodate the heart
primitive. I would like to know how the magic numbers in magic.h are
chosen so as to edit the RT_HRT_INTERNAL_MAGIC Ox..... .
They are mostly arbitrary. You just want a value that is unique, doesn't have zeros for the first or last byte, and ideally has a representation in ASCII that can be ideally identified with a debugger. For example 0x6865727a would be rather appropriate for a heart primitive...
Cheers!
Sean
