I'm looking at starting skeleton xml files for the missing man pages,
and I started with the list in the TODO file. That list was made in
2007 and hasn't been updated until now as far as I know (it had
several binaries that have been renamed or removed or misspelled).
I made some find passes over the current source tree and came up with
the attached list of binary files that don't have xml man source.
I made a Perl script in which I started with a list of all files in
the install dev-7.24.1/bin directory. Then I eliminated all binaries
with any ".<suffix>" or "-config" endings. I also eliminated binary
files starting with "tclsh" or "wish". Finally, I eliminated all
binaries for which I could find a man page ending in ".[123]" in
,/src/other or ./src/external.
The names that remain are those for which I could not find a matching
"*.xml" file in ./doc/docbook/system.
I would appreciate any corrections or ideas about how to refine or
expand the source search in some kind of automated way.
