Hello everyone,
I am Todor Nikolov, currently I am in my 3-rd year of undergraduate studies
in Computer Science and Engineering at the Faculty of Computer Science and
engineering, in Skopje, Macedonia. I am familiar with c/c++ and the focus
of my studies is parallel programming. My irc alias is todor_nikolov or
t_nikolov.
I am interested in speeding up your raytracer and porting parts of it to
openCL. While I haven't worked with openCL yet, I am familiar with CUDA and
moving from one to the other should be easy.
Another idea I had was creating a library meant for measuring of
performance during runtime, meaning take measurements of time, input,
memory usage, etc.
I will be working on my proposal during the weekend and the first draft
should be available very soon.
