And generally any feedback of my proposal? Note that not getting a comment is not a good or bad sign at this point. It takes a long time to get through all proposals. Feedback on most proposals will be made through the Melange comments interface this week and next. Make sure you're check on your proposal comments (you should get an e-mail notification if you've subscribed) in case we post any questions. Also everyone should make themselves available on IRC just in case we need to get ahold of you for a discussion. In the meantime, continue working on patches. Reviews are ongoing, so the more an individual does to demonstrate their commitment and coding ability, the better off the review usually goes. As for your specific proposal, here's some feedback: Your idea is clear, the detail is okay (not great, but okay), and you seem to have appropriate (albeit unproven) experience, but your familiarity with BRL-CAD is obviously lacking. Your timeline is not only vague but pretty much impossible. The scope needs to be more narrowly and specifically defined. You've proposed a hard project, so anything you submit that improves your familiarity with BRL-CAD and relates it to your GPGPU experience would be greatly beneficial. Cheers!
