Okay, thanks. I may have more questions on that later.
A few more questions:
1. Have you ever been able to ssh to brlcad.org successfully?
2. Do you have a 'config' file in your local host's $HOME/.ssh directory?
Just for fun, try adding these lines near the top of a 'config' file:
Host *
ServerAliveInterval 45
I just updated my public key successfully on brlcad.org, so I know the
server allows access via scp okay.
