Hrm,
        Well I would argue the point of unnecessary.  From a scripting
perspective, having the 'in' command argument list documented could be very
useful... But that's a lot of work for (probably) not a lot of people who
would use it.   Just some food for thought.

It's unnecessary.  That could make an interesting tutorial but as Dave
mentioned, you would probably be better off running the 'in'  
command in interactive mode where it asks/explains everything it prompts you
for.  Then you don't need to spell everything out after the fact -- it's
part of the command transcript.

The existing Volume II MGED tutorial covers the 'in' command in detail in
Lesson 3.  You might want to take a look at that first before working out
how to make things better.
