I am running a VBA script that I wrote using NIRT to determine intervening
material thickness through the model to a particular aim point. An output to
that is a BRL-CAD command script to generate ARB5 solids placed into groups
that are colored to show what I need. It appears the BRL-CAD script is working
just fine up to a point. It gets about hallway through and the MGED crashes
with the following error...

BRL-CAD Release 7.26.0 Crash Report
Mon, 29 Aug 2016 10:39:32 Eastern Daylight Time, Compilation 0
    clifford.yapp@ARLAWKLS18400

Command: mged.exe
Process: 23064
Path: C:\Program Files\BRLCAD 7.26.0\bin\mged.exe
Date: Wed Apr 29 22:24:15 2020

Call stack backtrace (thread 0):

I am running every azimuth and elevation at 1° increments so there are a lot of
solids to generate. My question, is there a limit to the number of children
that can be placed into a group?
