The lowercase -x option is used to select the screen driver. For example: -xa2 The uppercase -X option is used to set a screen driver parameter. For example: -Xa2:type=terminal >as a unpriviliged user in the mate terminal I get neither braille nor speech >output :-(. Especially if you're using a USB braille device, you might want to try invoking brltty as root. A debug log would show what the actual problem is. For that, you can use the -L (uppercase) option to specify the log file. For example: -L/path/to/brltty.log -- I believe the Bible to be the very Word of God: http://Mielke.cc/bible/ Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | WebHome: http://Mielke.cc/ EMail: d...@mielke.cc | Ottawa, Ontario | Twitter: @Dave_Mielke Phone: +1 613 726 0014 | Canada K2A 1H7 | _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
