Hello, Tim Böttcher (2025/12/29 10:56 +0100): > I mean this: > https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tech.ula&hl=en
Thank you! I'll definitely look into it! > And yeah, i noticed that especially some key combinations with the Braille > keyboard don't work as I'd expect them to. > > Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be much interest on the part of > HelpTech to make the Linux experience more seamless; I am not sure I understandyou here. I'd have thought this is independent of the operating system? I mean, it's HelpTech which, through its internal firmware, controlswhich keycodes are exposed and how. It is indeed possible that some keycodes that are exposed are not handled properly by the drivers, but this is something that is fixable, at least on the linux side. The other possibility is that, for some keypresses, nothingis sent out by HandyTehc's firmware and that's something which is not OS-related. In case you'd want to give it a try, I preciously keep a copy of their firmware 2.0c, at this URL: http://seb.thefreecat.org/Active_Star_40_Firmware_2.0c.exe But I'm realizing that this is supposed to be only for the ActiveStar 40 so it may or may not work for your Actilino, sadly. Of course, the other problem is that, currently, you have to use a Windows box to change the version of the firmware.
