Thank you for doing that test. I'm analyzing the data right now, but perhaps a little more data would be even mroe helpful. On lines 42 and 43 of the driver's source (which is in Drivers/Braille/Baum/braille.c) you'll find declarations for the two variables logInputPackets and logOutputPackets.
