That indeed sounds like a good general statement, but is it always true? Let's say, for example, that both inserted characters and new lines are to be spoken. Isn't it possible that a user might want inserted spaces to be silent but blank new lines to be spoken? >Speaking characters/lines and continuing to speak same character/line when >moving to a space or empty line is very confusing.
