Recent reviews of IOWATEST:
"South Florida continues to spit out retro-styled electronic rock and pop acts at the rate of two a month, it seems. IOWATEST manages to rise above the tide of '80s guitar riffs and laconic vocals...the effect is a danceable heartbreak."-Brent Dykstas, "bitRATE""Who is this band?""Iowatest""I like""and?"-Scribbled on a white cocktail napkin in blue ink. The penmanship of the first is wavery, the respondent, obviously feminine. The napkin is missing its top left corner."F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic of longing, The Great Gatsby, closes with: 'We beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.'IOWATEST is just like that. Well, with better breaks."-8th place finalist from www.bookwhore.com's "Music Review and Literature Mash-Up Contest '05;' IP address not logged
