ezRPM is sponsoring a new kind of weekly event, and it's taking place at our new second home, Knock Knock - in Downtown Orlando. The new night will neither assault you or astound you with how much gear we have, what the hot new tweak is, or why this Absynth patch is better than the rest. I mean not every one of us are music nerds, and who wants to have to pay attention to a Live PA in the middle of the week anyway?
Instead, we're going to keep it on the dL, and provide you an entirely different experience. One that is relaxing enough to melt away the mid-week stress, but hype enough to keep your head nodding all the way through your third, forth or fifth drink.
Enter, Lo-Ki Wednesdays (pronounced Low Key), a night of just the right blend of eclectic musical tastes and mischievous playfulness that we just had to tip our hat to our most favorite of norse gods, save Odin. Take with you no expectations, as each wednesday night we will have a rotating cast of ezRPM deejays, throwing down everything from electronica to downtempo to industrial to funk/soul/rock to who-the-fuck-knows-what-else. If it's got a beat, and you can get down to it, expect it to surface at some time or another.
This wednesday sees the kick off, with xenlab and drone operator as your hosts. We're only going to send out a monthly reminder about this, so be sure to mark your calendars, and come down and have a drink with us. It's free, so there's no excuse not to pass your hump day, bumping to the rhythm.
Shake a leg every Wednesday to....
