Hello All. Joseph here with some news that we all thought might be coming.
With heavy heart I must announce that we are moving Vamp as well as our other events that are held at Sonar to several new locations which we will be announcing later this week..(donât worry its not far from its original local) so please spread the word and let all of our friends know that our Saturday parties are being held at the Rose and Crown and are free to enter 9pm- 11pm. Sonar, Club Xit and many other clubs in Hollywood have decided to close their doors due to too many complications with the new laws coming to Hollywood. As many of you know I have read the new bill and laws over and over and knew we could get around most of them but one thing I couldnât get around was the fact that Sonar would have to buy a full working kitchen to stay open past September. And even if they did all of the clubs on Hollywood blvd would now become smoke free which means death to the clubs biz. You can't smoke in the clubs and no one can be on the street with their drinks with out being arrested . So as of this moment Sonar has closed its doors for ever - we will remember it as the place that changed our views of what an underground club should look like and we will remember hearing the evolution of our music over the last 2 years...the owners of Sonar (Sean, Inbal and Betty) are like family and we wish the the best in all they do...
