As far as I can see, the problem is that different people send their
mails in different packings, and the mailman program will have to its
best to guess what is going on. Often it can not do that very well.
It seems that both of the latest complaints have been from people who
get the list in a digest form (all mails packed in one big mailing),
maybe it works better if you get every mail separately.
Other that than I can not say. Mailman is supposed to be one of the best
mailing list programs, and we are using it internally and externally for
many things here at Index Data (and provide it free of charge to
haandbryg). I don't think I would dare to go mucking too much around
with it.
