1 magnetdrevet pumpe der mæsker og flytter urten,
1 dobbeltspiral køler der forvarmer vandet til næste mæskning og afkøler urten,
1 gennemstømsvarmer der holder/forøger mæskningstemperaturen,
en frygtelig masse magnetventiler
og en microprocessor styring med display, tastatur og RS232 interface for dataoverførsel.


Hvorfor mailer du mig direkte, istedet for at benytte mailgruppen (Brygforum)?

Of course you can! You may not get the best possible mashing efficiency
(there may be some sugars left in the grains), but for a home brewer that
should not be all that important. You can always use a bit more malt...
In practice I have found it ieasier to heat my mashing water in smaller
amounts - that way I can start when the first potfull is warm, and I can
control the temperature by adding more or less warm water. At some point I
start circulating the mash (probably ought to do more of that), and when it
looks good enough, it starts to go into the brew pot. I keep sparging with
more hot water (I use almost boiling water for that, some say it is not so
good...), until I have my pot full of wort. I have a gut feeling that most
of the water enters the system before I take anything out, but I have not
measured anything...

What sort of half-automatic magic are you using?
