Yep, as big as possible is a good plan. Price will probably be the limiting factor. As to all-grain, there seem to be two styles. Those that mash in a pot, and those who do not. I do all my mashing in a plastic bucket, so mashing sets no limits to the size of my pot. Often I mash enough to make two (or even three) boils in my (too small) 19 liter pot. > > 2.
