Se nu er det ikke pga. af de rad eller processer han beskriver, og faktisk var en forud hans samtid, men han er i mine ojene en kultfigur, og hans bog hore efter min mening hjemme i en hver serios handbryggers (olentusiast) bogskab, Manden, Alf Grostol, var jo bl.a med til at stifte handbrygger laguet i Aarhus, som jeg har den storste respekt for. De var med til at hjalpe mig igang med at brygge, i en tid for haandbryg.dk/ale.dk, og dengang var det ikke lige til, for en nystartet brygger som undertegnede at skaffe humle, malt gar osv....
