#¤%&/(!!! I was just starting a nice and easy brew, had milled maybe 100g of malt when SNAP - the mill broke.
I am using Brygladen's cheap "manual" mill. I have filed down the threads where the handle screw goes, so that the outer half of that is a little triangular stub that fits well in my electric drill. It is that piece that fell off. There is enough threads left so that I can still screw the handle on, but I do *not* want to go back to manual grinding. That is simple work for a simple machine. Today's quick fix is probably to sacrifice the rest of the threads, and file a new piece for the drill. Perhaps I should leave it round(ish) to have more material there, so as not to break too soon. I know it will break, sooner or later. I would like to hear how the rest of you have attached motors to your drills. I know several of you have done so. I fear that pretty soon I will have to find a more permanent solution to my drill. -H -- Heikki Levanto LSD - Levanto Software Development <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
