Yes, it shows that the yeast is multiplying and filling your starter. Let me guess - you used a dry yeast. They are powerful little things. With a good starter (as yours seems to be), you probably get a very violent primary fermentation. Make sure there is room for all that foam in your fermenting bucket. Also, do not be surprised if the primaryu fermentation is over in a couple of days, just let the beer sit a while anyway, it is still developing...
