Well, it is hard to say. Malt doesn't go bad in one step, rather it looses flavor slowly, so it is hard to say when it is no longer good. Some say a week, some say a few weeks, some say for ever... I have had a sack of crushed malt that lasted a few months, without me tasting any bad effects. But it was early in my career, so I may not have been able to note the finer differences. It also depends on what kind of beer you want to brew from it.
