Congratulations!

I am brewing on one of those glass-ceramic stoves, and it seems to work
all right. Also my pot is a bit off-center, but that seems not to harm
it much. I have just about enough power in my stove to get my 20 liters
to a boil. Often I need to keep the lid on while warming up (but of
course I boil without a lid, to let the evil stuff out). A good contact
between the pot and the stove is important, just a little bit of dirt
will make things go much slower! So keep the glass clean, and the bottom
of your pot too.

Don't worry. As I often say

    it will be beer anyway
