Good day.
First thread on this mailing list etc,
I will most probably be attending BSDCAN this year, (see
http://www.bsdcan.org/2005/)
Will anyone else be attending?
I don't know if this is in the plan, or has been thought of by someone
else but i think making some noise about the BSD certification at the
conference would be a good way of getting some good exposure from
corporate suits/techies that have not already heard of it.
Maybe some flyers/business cards with the bsdcertfication.org address on them?
I don't know if this is/will be permitted at the conference, but it's
just an idea.
Any output?

The Certification Group is working on promotional brochures and will make them freely available once they're ready so anyone can print out the amount of
copies they need for either local events or for advocacy purposes with
employers, educational institutions, etc.

If you're interested in helping, either drop me an email or choose a subject of "media" at http://www.bscertification.org/contactus.htm. Indicate what you can do. We currently have need for:

- those with graphic design skills to create visually appealing brochures
- those with ideas on how to word and layout the content (words) of
  brochures

Additionally, if you're planning on attending any conferences or manning any trade show or installfest booths, let us know the dates. If we get enough response on this, we can setup a twiki area so others know what events around the world are getting exposure to BSD certification. Let's dispel the notion once and for all that people have never heard of BSD :-)
