I think sometimes people clump abilities together, for example it's not a far stretch for one to say, if you are an 'administrator' of a *bsd system you are responsible for patching, so you should know how to resolve library inter dependency issues and so on. I don't think those are fair issues for an 'administrator' where they would be fair game for a developer or 'super guru(tm)'.
