No plans to use these services as each charges $75,000 USD annually. This would drive the exam cost up to about $1000 per exam, just to break even on the delivery costs. > At the moment the link "Upcoming Certifications" is empty. Thanks, I'll advise the webmaster. > Partnership with LPI? This was a possibility in the past but not likely now as the upper leadership and business focus at LPI has changed. Our plan is to create an open source licensed software delivery system available for our own use and for other projects who wish to offer their own certification exams. There has been some traction with this as we have set up an svn/trac system and have a design for the front end with a working prototype. The backend design has stalled though and we really need someone with the time and experience to get this phase of development moving. We've also always wanted to share, and ideally, co-develop the solution. Now that the postgres people are working on their own certification some traction might happen in co-developing an exam delivery solution. There has also been discussion with LPI who is also interested in a custom solution (tampered by changing business focus mentioned above).
