Hello Claudiu,

The length of time is partly due to the time it takes for shipping (exams occur
throughout the world) and that we pay the psychometrician to score exams once
per month (so we wait for all that month's exams to arrive to send to her in
one batch). In practical terms, how long one waits depends upon what country
the exams are coming from and what time of month the event occured; we tell
exam takers any where from 3-5 weeks. Most organizations that use paper based
examinations have similar time periods. I've found that LPI tends to be quicker
(but they charge much more for their exams and don't offer their paper exams in
all countries) and ISACA tends to be much slower (closer to 7-10 weeks).

BTW, you should have your results some time next week as I shipped the
psychometrician the batch containing your exam earlier this week.

Cheers,

Dru

Subject: [BSDCert] why so long for the results

Hello,

I was wondering why it takes so long to get the results back after the exam.
Officially it's between 3-4 weeks which is a bit too long if you ask me.

I am curios where are the exams corrected. I took the BSDA nearly 1 month ago
(2 days to the date) and still no reply.

Is there anything we (I) could do to help this process be quicker ?
