Hi Roberty,
While I have not done the BSDCERT yet (I hope to this year) those system
specifications will be more than sufficient for running any BSD system.
Good luck!

Subject: [BSDCert] System Requirements for the BSD Certification Package
Hello everyone,
I purchased the Winter/Spring 2012 DVD (FreeBSD 8.2, etc) but haven't
installed/begun the sessions yet. My intention is to install the DVD on
a second PC (refurbished system which I haven't purchased yet) with the
following general specs:
Hard Disk: 160GB
CPU: Intel Core 2, 2.80 GHz
Optical: CD-RW/DVD-RW
Network card: Gigabit Ethernet
Memory: 4096MB
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition (considering writing
over entire system)
I wasn't able to find the system requirements for the certification DVD
and hope the system mentioned above will be sufficient for training
purposes. Please advise.
Thank you,
Bob Perry

Thank you so much for your input. It's been a while since I've used
FreeBSD.
Thanks again,
Bob Perry
