BSF 2.4: Bugzilla issue requesting to remove "log4j.properties" from the jar, how about that?

Hi there,

in the Bugzilla issue
<http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=42011> a request was
made of removing the "log4j.properties" file from the jar.

Before answering this issue, I would like to gather opinions about this
in this group.
