it didnt help, i tried on 2.6.25-rc4 and the results are the same.
running postmark with 20k files, 10k transactions, 20k subdirs is giving
results of around 200KB/s read and 1MB/s write, which is even slower...
i don't know where it comes from, but it is xfs issue i think
I experienced the same kind of performance degradation when running
postmark on xfs. How about using 'nobarrier' mount option for xfs?
it doesnt help, setting 'ikeep' neither
