Dalam Munas MUI beberapa minggu yang lalu, saya membaca adanya keluhan utusan MUI daerah mengenai pemurtadan (perpindahan) umat muslim ke agama lain. Salah satunya datang dari MUI Bangka-Belitung yang mengeluhkan terpilihnya non Muslim menjadi Bupati. Tadinya saya nggak "ngeh" siapa yang dimaksud. Barulah kemarin saya tahu bahwa tokoh yang sedang dibicarakan adalah Bupati Belitung Timur.
Saya nggak mengerti apa hubungan antara terpilihnya si Ahok dengan pemurtadan dan bila 90% penduduk Belitung Timur adalah Muslim mengapa terpilihnya Ahok dianggap mempersulit dakwah ? Semoga si Ahok ini terbukti kompeten dan semua pihak bisa menilai seseorang terlepas dari apa agamanya dan keturunannya. Penghargaan saya untuk Sdr.
